Natural Methods of Coloring Soap

Our handmade soaps do not contain pigments or dyes. Instead, we allow nature's color palette do the job via herbs, flower petals, ground seeds and spices.
Botanical additions include:

Annatto seeds = deep orange
Calendula petals = pinkish/yellow
French clay = light pink
Ground ginger = amber/gold
Hemp oil (unrefined) = lime green
Maddar powder = pinkish orange
Nettle leaf = green
Peppermint & spearmint leaves = green tinge
Sandalwood = deep maroon/purple
Sea Clay = speckled gray
St. John's Wort = deep chocolate brown

Each batch of handmade soap is unique. Slight color variations from one batch to the next are not uncommon.
